If you mean "scheduled flights": I am not aware of any maximum. There are actually two daily flights to Manchester and 4 or 5 to London City. So with the new Frankfurt service the total should be close to 10 per day, significantly less in the weekend. For exact info consult VLM's website, they are the only year-round scheduled operator at ANR.

[[edit:]] BTW you can consult daily operations at http://teletekst.een.be/tt_een.php?p=38 ... =1&r=0&x=1 but don't be fooled by the services to Jersey and Man: these involve a connection at LCY.

Yes, they can, and frequently do. Indeed runway 29 is most used, and involves climbing over the city after take-off. And if the wind goes the other way, they land over the city, yes yes. Still there is this mention in the AIP:
PREFERENTIAL RWY SYSTEM
Weather and TFC permitting, ATC shall use RWY 11 in preference to RWY 29 for DEP ACFT with a weight exceeding 5 700 kg.

Then travel by Thalys in first class and get wifi for free... just as I'm doing right now!

Left Paris at 16:55, just checked and replied to all the e-mails, read the news and now checking Luchtzak!

Thalys rules!!!

Cheers,

P.S. Actually I manage to work on a plane as well, thanks to noise cancelling earphones! And BTW, self employed as well and therefore (almost) always in cattle class!

Air France in co-operation with subsidiaries, CityJet and VLM Airlines, will start a new route from London City Airport to Nantes from 27 April. The 100-minute flights will be operated by VLM Airlines’ F50 aircraft.
