Nobody told you, to stop writing in Broo-ad Yorksher in the luchtzak pub
Chris
Chris I don't want to stop, but certain people on here are already objecting to these dialect posts, and I don't think it would be long before this thread would end up being locked or the posts in it deleted.
I know that you and several others on here liked these dialect posts and I'm sorry to put an end to this as I enjoyed posting these as well, but there is no point posting things which people find objectionable.
Where has the humour gone to from this forum???

That is not true. Nobody told you to stop writing like that in this topic. That's why it has been created.
Chris
No Chris, I've not been told to stop the dialect posts in this topic, it was my own decision, taken because the forum admin (or certain admin) seem to object to the dialect going on the forum in the first place.
There is no point in continuing with something that admin don't approve of because sooner or later it would be locked, and I would hate to see that happen because I think the dialect has added a bit of a light hearted touch to the forums (and I have already had several completely innocent and inoffensive posts removed.)

Louise,
Could you please show me the FULL quote where 'certain' forum admin objects to dialect going on in the forum?
I should appreciate that you keep your local language for the Luchtzak pub and post only in plain English in the other sections of Luchtzak, for the benefit of most readers.
Thanks in anticipation for your co-operation!

The English rule is in application in the whole of Luchtzak, except in the French/Dutch section and in the pub!
Please feel free to use Broad Yorkshire in the pub. No bad intentions were implied at any time!
