Therefore, theorically, if a customer eat in the plane, Skybus can ask him a compensation in front of a civil juridiction for the dammage that the company has suffered, caused by the non respect of a contractuel obligation by the client.
So, if and when an airline forbids the passenger to bring his own food, the passenger has to eat what the airline is offering (eventually at a price)?
Explain now, how a passenger who needs by doctors order to eat gluten free food, will be served food by Skybus at a reasonable cost?
Reasonable meaning non-discriminatory or excessive price.

A night rest brought me some other ideas. Vueling came up with the legal part of it. And we read the thing about belgian railways.
Actually, there are some situations: I remember that people where shaving and eating and boozing in the train, and I did not like it at all. It is a kind of not done thing. But I do also remember during the boy scout years when we were on a 3 hour trip to the mountains that all the children had a small sandwich lunch during the trip. And that did probably offend much less than a asocial type sitting next to you swallowing some hotdogs .
When it is " feeding time" during a long flight, every body is fed at the same time. But 1 hour later, I would not like it if my neighbour starts to make noises like a moose.
Anyway, most of those LCC have short flieghts of 1-2 hours. It will get more problematic when they do long haul. And if they forbid you than to bring food on board and oblige you to buy there own overpriced tasteless , it become a 100% commercial issue. ( and not safety thing as with the drinks )
We will have to go with the flow - but I keep my eyes open to be rebellious now and than.
