There was a very funny interview with an asian film director this morning on BBC breakfast in the wake of the ridiculous situation on a Monarch flight from Malaga over the weekend. Two asians de-boarded because well, the other passengers didn;t like the look of them. Pathetic.

ANyway - the bbc cuts to an interview with a jaikie family from Manchester (if you want to know what a jaikie is you may find it online - slang) who were on the flight. This family were, well, tragic and complained that the two men 'looked very dodgy' which is why they objected.

Now this woman was wearing so much make up her tan had turned well, the colour of a holland football strip. Anyway the asian film director came across as very smart and said he didn;t object to extra security measures and being checked but did object to the fact it didn;t apply to orange people as well.....it was quality. You could see the presenter trying not to crack up......

What is a system of "positive profiling"

Post by SN30952 »

Bernhard, I started this forum with a :?: , you put a :!: ....

"The existing technologies have been proven to have limited effectiveness," said Philip Baum, editor of magazine Aviation Security International.

Security officials need to concentrate on people not objects at airports

Such an approach would be very labour intensive, very expensive and is still not guaranteed to succeed, but it's the only methodology that can stay ahead of terrorism and terrorists.

Continue in the link, please.
And lets come to:
What is a system of "positive profiling" based on behaviour not ethnicity.

Security Agencies just need to start monitoring everybody's thoughts. That way, attack can be prevented even before the planning stage. Wouldn't that be great?
