  • Sorry girls and guys, I would like to be more often on the site, but for the moment I do not have my own PC.
It is undergoing a D-Check. So I have to rely on the PC's of the ones who recommended me Luchtzak.

So this is already some more information.

Lien,

Yours is in D-check, my pc had a bird strike :) A cluster that is broken on my Hard disk, I hope that I can copy the info of the old one on the new one other wise I will lose my entire info of it because I couldn't make a backup of it.

Greetz,

Dave

As Lien says: I think it would be nice if one knew if a member is female or male.
And with Alexis we COULD only guess... and now we know!

I think that the forums "Let me introduce myself" and "What's your relation with aviation" has about the same goal : Learn more about the other members. And as I said before every member, no matter if it's a "He" or "She" (Especially for Comet  ) should do that. Should be a pretty forum with over 2000 posts !!

About myself, I think I told already every thing in the : "What's your relation with aviation" forum. And if you want to know more you always can visit my website and tell me what you think about in the "Guestbook"
:D :D :D

Keep them flying !!!

Twan - I visited your site and signed your guestbook (good site).

I wrote my introduction as soon as the Member Introductions forum was set up, I was the first to post in it. It is nice to know about other members, and I have nothing to hide from anyone here anyway when it comes to telling about myself.

I am currently in the middle of building a photographic website about my visits to Belgium. Nothing new for you Belgians of course, but for people who know nothing of the country, it shows some of the nicest places (and there are some aircraft in there as well!!)

haha there some nice ladies under the name Alexis. Up untill now I always thought that the only female Alexis was Joan Collins as Alexis Colby in the american soap opera "Dynasty".

Kind of childish for not introducing yourself or telling if you are male of female.
I thought everbody here grew up already but somehow people prefer to hide and seek :censored:

If you don't have your own PC, how come you said in another topic that you had set Luchtzak.be as your home page?

Well said Erwin. If people have nothing to hide, then they should not be so wary of telling people about themselves.

This was the first day on luchtzak, before my PC/laptop crashed.

    I wasn't member yet, just a visitor.

Mind you I have got nothing against it. But why most members, especially the new ones don't do it ?

I thought everybody knows me!
Well…A short introduction.
My name is Michael Judah; I’m 29 years old, born and raised in Haifa, Israel, now living in Huizen, Netherlands. I served in the IDF for 3 years, traveled around Asia for 6 months (Danced in full moon parties in Thailand, enjoyed the beauty of Burma, tracked the Himalayas in Nepal, absorbed the wisdom from India) and traveled around Australia for 10 months (drank lots of beer :P ). I Speak: Hebrew, English and Dutch (redelijk) and hold a Commercial Pilots License. My goals in live: Do everything at least once. Ohhh…. I almost forgot: Male and Single.

Of course I did many other things but this is a short introduction.

It is a pitty that only 200 out of 2150 members ever sent a post.

And only +/- 100 send regulary messages.

Come on, members, send some more ideas and opinions.

After being here for a while already I'll tell a bit more of myself...
My real name is Bart Van Goethem ( no VG Airlines wasn't mine  )
I was born ( off course ) on June 20, 1968.
When I was 15 years old I wanted to become a traindriver but my eyes weren't good enough
When I became 21 I started giving driving lessons in one of Belgiums well known driving schools and after 14 years I'm still doing that. ( 44 hours per week )
Still I have the time to practise my hobby: aviation.
I make model planes, I draw planes ( like you might have seen here already ), I go spotting on regular basis ( I prefer EHAM ), I have a subscription on "Airways magazine" and off course I surf the web on aviation sites ( especially luchtzak )
Some more private things: Since 1996 I have my own house that is undergoing a D-check for the moment. My girlfriend ( Sabine ) that I've met in January 1999 lives with me with her 2 sons ( age 9 and 12 )
My favorites:
Food: Spaghetti bolognese
Drink: Sparkling water, Coca Cola and Jupiler
Animal: our doggie Missy ( a York )
Hobby: guess what
Vehicle: a plane off course!
TV programs: every good movie and good series and every aviation related program

Flights that I have made ( with commercial planes )
Sabena flight with B737 to see comet Hale-Bopp in april 1997
VEX 737 to LHR in october 1997
Sabena "lifeline" B737 in march 1998
VEX 737 to LHR in april 1998
CTB 767-300 "Falcon" to MIA(mi) in June 1998
( on the returnflight on my birthday I sat in the jumpseat during landing at EBBR :D )
VEX 737 to BCN ( Barcelona ) in June 1999
( back to EBBR again on my birthday, this time a short cockpitvisit in flight )
CTB to MIA ( with stop in MCO-Orlando ) with MD-11"Albatros" :P
Sabena 747-300 "farewell to belgium" on october 31, 1999
(My first time in a jumbo)
Sabena A320 ( brand new ) for "lifeline" in february or march 2000
CTB 767-300"Harrier" to MCO ( Orlando ) in april 2000
( first flight for my stepsons )
Air Belgium A320 ( Airtours ) to ALC ( Alicante ) in sept 2000
Sept 2001 VLM "flight over Flanders", a quiet year to fly
August 2002 Thomas Cook A320 to ALC
October 2002 VLM "flight over Flanders"
August 2003 Thomas Cook A320 to LPA ( Las Palmas )
Okay, now you people know a lot more about me.
Who's next?
When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return."
