I just checked A.net, no pictures available yet.

A total loss would supprise me as the article stated that the fuselage didn't even hit the ground. Can the damage to merel the nosewheel be that extensive that it is to expensive to repair the plane? Or is there probably more structural damage given the decision to declare the plane total loss?

Kind regards

The fusulage did hid the ground!
but the damage is not from that such of nature that it would be a total loss.

the repair is from the nose gear bay until frame 19, with a skin repair from 4 to 8 o'clock.

also some frames are replaced.

I just got the following request:
Info re RJ85 OO-DJN

Can anyone answer this query for me PLSE?

I knew > S N Brussels OO-DJN had an UCRG problem at Goteborg/GOT; in March. I was pleased to learn that it was repaired & flown out. [See report RECD - below]

Does anyone know, or - can you ascertain - if it was both FULLY repaired - and - repainted at /GOT?

If so, did it fly directly back to Bruxelles/BRU? As a revenue flight? Number?

Or, - was it flown out, as a ferry only? Back to ? ( /BRU?). If to /BRU, did it still need more repairs? Or - color scheme attention only?

Mostly, > S N Brussels airplanes seem to go to > Q A P S, @ Amsterdam/AMS (Schipol) for paintwork attention. If that was the case, then was OO-DJN flown, as a ferry only, from /GOT to /AMS direct! Yes?????

Will appreciate replies, very many THNX indeed.

This is the report I have RECD...............
"""[E2275] OO-DJN > S N Brussels Airlines, following a nose wheel collapse in an emergency landing at Gothenburg / Landvetter on 10 Mar 06, it departed, after repairs, on 13 May 06"""

The aircraft came directly to BRU out of GOT as a ferryflight with a SN6... flightnumber.

But I can't remember when it was.
