I just learn that an other fire-fighting aircraft crashed today as it was tackling a forest fire in southeastern France.

Flying bombero is a dangerous job. Fire fighters risk their live all the time, on ground or in the air.
These men and women have indeed a fighting spirit, but who fights can die.
If the cause of such death is worthwhile, then it is an honour, if the cause isn't, then it is stupid.

France sends 2 Canadair to help Portugal. Spain sends some reinforcements too. The situation is still bad there...
