Ryanair in 2016

Re: Ryanair in 2016
I think my personal opinion doesnt matter much as my view on the matter is too emotional. FR has focused on helping everyone in the shortest time possible. A few extra days may indeed have been desirable, but a request to postpone flights for a month (at the same price) I dont know :/

Ryanair to announce a base in Sofia tomorrow.

Re: Ryanair in 2016
That might well mean the last lights going out for Hahn, ISTR the place was already running at a deficit. If rumours are to be confirmed.
Re: Ryanair in 2016
Ryanair launches year 3 of the AGB programme with a huge list of improvements but the biggest one that stands out in my opinion is the leisure plus package where everything is included in your fare: flight, luggage, reserved seat, priority boarding. Also the business plus package will be upgraded as will the app.

True HHN has been losing lots of money, PAX (mainly with FR) and Freight traffic these last several years.jan_olieslagers wrote:That might well mean the last lights going out for Hahn, ISTR the place was already running at a deficit. If rumours are to be confirmed.
Only development is the new hangar being built for HAITEC.
See : http://www.haitec.aero/construction-progress.html

Inauguration likely to be delayed (heck, you're never far from Berlin
They should have learned from JetAirPort project (Loods 40, with the GSE provided by the same company) where the roof was built on the ground and raised so that inside civil works were carried out protected from wintry Wx.
This hangar is capable to accommodate up to the A380, so if the lights go out at HHN they will have to fly daytime VFR I guess.
Sorry for the digression from main topic.
Airport guys

Re: Ryanair in 2016
The dice has been cast. I have decided to take a manager's position with BA (much to inquirer's surprise probably seeing he feels im bad with numbers) where I will be partially flying and partially working on the ground. Im flying/working my last 2 months in FR/BRU. I will stay around on the forum but probably much less noticable

Re: Ryanair in 2016
Congrats! Does it involve a relocation to LHR?
Re: Ryanair in 2016
Thanks guys, I might try and commute and stay in a crew BnB while on the ground ... but I need to see how that works out financially. Otherwise I will move to London indeed

Re: Ryanair in 2016
Ryanair to trial flight connections:
"Ryanair chief executive Michael O'Leary told the Irish Independent that the service - which would allow transfer passengers to remain airside rather than having to go through security again - could be rolled out at other airports if it's successful."
First trials are planned for STN, BCN.
http://www.independent.ie/business/iris ... 24914.html
If succesaful, CRL probably would have a sufficiently robust network to support connections too.

Indeed: airazurxtror is also gone...b-west wrote:But who will defend Ryanair now?
And not only sean1982 is leaving the airline. Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary says there’s a 50% chance he will retire in 2019 when his current 5-year contract expires.

People looking for higher wages will never say that they are staying, no matter what.sn26567 wrote:Indeed: airazurxtror is also gone...b-west wrote:But who will defend Ryanair now?

Wow that took some time. But congrats. I'm sure you made the right choice.sean1982 wrote:The dice has been cast. And maybe see you on one of our flight while you are commuting as stand by tickets with us are cheaper than BA...
Re: Ryanair in 2016
The question is then ... How to get a standby ticket
Thanks ITR, it took long cause im not going as Cabin crew now, but as a CSM so I had to go through an additional interview process

Re: Ryanair in 2016
Don't know if its on topic but seems that the Dublin flights from BRU are diverted to CRL at least until 03/05.
A friend of mine got a sms/email saying that his morning flight at BRU is changed to CRL @30/04.
The option is a refund...there is no option to book a later flight the same day from BRU.
No coachtravel from BRU to CRL, its more like get your own transport.
Flights to Dublin are also cheaper from CRL.
Is there anyway of compensation?
I was thinking of at least the difference in airport taxes.
