I place the message over here since it wasnt in the right topic.Maybe we can see some (new) asian companies now that Prime Minister Verhofstad has been there to promote our little country? Didn't he mentioned something like that in an interview on TV

Like member Andong said we can expect also a delegation of Hainan at Brussels this month.
After their meetings in Zaventem where they had talk with the business and leisure players they left to ZURICH and depending on which airport (country) they felt would be most interesting for HU they would make recommendations to their board in China.
If flights to BRU were to be operated they most probably would start in May 2007 with SN being a 'very willing' code-share partner
Let's wait,see & hope
In my opinion, JAL and ANA will probably work with their alliance grouping on their European hub (oneworld and Star, respectively.) That means, for ANA, FRA maybe the best choice while for JAL, LHR is a better candidate over BRU. Just a thought. It would be interesting to know the results of his last mission to Asia. Maybe JAL or ANA might be interested in making BRU their European hub (big cost cutting !) In that case SNBA could be an ideal European (and African) feeder. Sounds utopic but that might be a logic step after relaunching a direct flight between BRU and Japan.
It's indeed a choice between BRU and ZRH. I don't know what the fares are at ZRH but BRU is a very competitive player for the airports around us. BRU is a little bit cheaper.
BRU can also give good connections with Africa and Europe. And there is space available at our airport.
And also important Hainan will not fly alone this route. SNBA will codeshare immediately with Hainan.

When successful it surely be inducive to other Asian carriers to do the same.Atlantis wrote:It's indeed a choice between BRU and ZRH. I don't know what the fares are at ZRH but BRU is a very competitive player for the airports around us. BRU is a little bit cheaper.
