It's not over yet. Behind the scenes is very busy. Some conclusions will be expected in a few weeks

I saw a pic of HRH Princess Astrid discussing with the CEO of Embraer holding an E2 model in his hands and the CEO of Sonaca, which employs 600 people in Brazil.

Hello,
Lately, the AC flight to Montreal (AC833) is always flown with the 777-300ER. Is this a temporary upgrade or a permanent increase in capacity?

Nice come back of TG today, on a daily basis with the Boeing 788 Dreamliner and very nice pictures of this event reported here on aviation24.
Finally, they flew in november and december 2021.
And they also flew in 2022. From January until April and in July and August (last flight). The plane even spent the night in Brussels for a short time if I am right.

When looking in the cargo schedule for the coming week I don't find any Lufthansa Cargo flights to the US. Have they already been suspended ?
Re: BRU Winter 2024-2025: News, new routes, airlines
Flights are operated by Aerologic and so loaded as "3S". Today for example it is 3S 448 to ORD (STA 20.10 STD 21.40)When looking in the cargo schedule for the coming week I don't find any Lufthansa Cargo flights to the US. Have they already been suspended ?
Speaking about cargo, we also had and have some flights from Central Airlines (I9) SZX-BRU-RUH-SZX (STA 18.50 STD 20.50), also a flight today btw
Business with China is doing good apparently...
Re: BRU Winter 2024-2025: News, new routes, airlines
China is proactively trying to gain market share in Europe to replace an anticipated slowdown with the US. More import from China is good news for the airport, bad news for a lot of other people...

The EU should close the air border between Russia and the EU like the US.
Hasta la victoria siempre.

Etihad will start flying its 787-10 daily and year-round starting 17th March.
Re: BRU Winter 2024-2025: News, new routes, airlines
Most flights to/from PVG and destinations further South, aka China's manufacturing base, already take the Southern routes through Mongolia and/or Kazakhstan. Closing the "air border" would just add an hour or two to flights currently going through Russia.lumumba wrote: 07 Dec 2024, 00:35The EU should close the air border between Russia and the EU like the US.
Re: BRU Winter 2024-2025: News, new routes, airlines
But European airlines are claiming unfair competition precisely because of this one or two hours.longwings wrote: 21 Dec 2024, 19:49Most flights to/from PVG and destinations further South, aka China's manufacturing base, already take the Southern routes through Mongolia and/or Kazakhstan. Hainan tonight is going take the less long route true Russia (via Mongolia obviously)
