The Belgian media indeed mention "an unruly passenger". However, PIA refers to a threat in an anonymous telephone call: BBC: "Pakistan International Airlines said in a statement that UK authorities had received "some vague security threat through an anonymous phone call" regarding the flight.

That seems to be confirmed by a testimony from another passenger who spoke to the BBC: "Arfah Khawaja, from Pakistan was on the plane. She said there was no sign of any disturbance. "It was a horrible experience. It really wasn't a big deal. The was no disruption during the flight," she said. She said the passengers were on the plane at Stansted for six hours following an eight-hour flight. She describe how eight heavily-armed police officers removed a man from the plane. "They knew who they were targeting," she said. "They escorted him from the plane. He was very calm."

FR-4022 Warshaw-Eindhoven (EI-DHB) had to divert to Weeze because a Hercules C-130 (Dutch Airforce) with a flat tyre blocked the runway at EIN.
