Furthermore, AA may not necessarily be delighted in having Jet adding competing capacity on BRU-NYC.
Actually there now seems to be a link between both Indian carriers. http://www.atwonline.com/news/story.html?storyID=8540 Jet Airways reportedly has reached a new agreement to acquire Air Sahara, reviving a merger that was called off last June.
There is no SQC press release, therefore I assume that these "new" destinations (for BRU then) are just created by some network engineering, such that these Chinese cities are now served as a tag-on to the existing SIN-BRU services.
FYI: The SQC press release (13/04/07) about JNB-NBO-BRU
The first thing I did when the old site of BIAC was again available was checking the cargo timetable. There I also saw that SQ was operating those three Chinese destinations. But then I was wondering why the daily timetable never show those flights.

I guess it may be just a matter of updating their database.
On the schedule below you can clearly see how the flights actually do originate in SIN and then are passing through XMN and NKG on the way to BRU. Not clear if and where there is a stop on NKG-BRU.

Only outbound traffic from China (to Europe) and no inbound flights. No wondering why China has such a huge trade surplus.

The flightnumbers for NKG, MFM and XMN are the same as the SQ flights from LAX, DFW and ORD. The routing will most probably be SIN-China-USA-BRU. And this also means that no extra flights are expected for those "new" destinations.

You're wright.
Wondering how useful it can be for a European importer to have an airlink (between China and Europe), that hauls the cargo eastbound over both the Pacific and the Atlantic. I guess there must exist more convenient and quicker westbound connections.
Some airlines reduce capacity during the winter season. Continental may also do this, hence maybe the downgrade from 772 to 764. I hope we will see the 772 again for the 2008 summer season.

Sorry I never heard this but I have read in October 2006 that Boston-Logan is working for more intercontinental flights includind Brussels.
American Airlines or Delta Air Lines could operate the BOS-BRU route.
As I said some months ago, American has no plans to operate a BRU-MIA service in the near future. However, things may change if market demand is high enough to make a BRU-MIA flight feasonable - without changing the revenue on JFK and ORD flights too heavy...
Some sources say that Jet Airways will have cheap fares on the BRU - EWR/YYZ flights, but I thought only European and American carriers had traffic rights between BRU and the US/Canada? n(for example Ethihad cannot sell tickets pn the BRU-YYZ stretch... How come Jet Airways can??
Isn't that because the comming agreement between Jet and Biac, with the ceremony on the airport this week? I heard Jet wants to have a hub here at bru and I think that will make it possible for them...
Not sure though, I only conclude this, while thinking about what I heard lately...
After successive good news for BRU this year, here is a less pleasant news: starting June 12 Hainan Airlines will stop flying to PEK every Tuesday. After starting this route less than a year ago, HU will fly to BRU only three times weekly this summer.
