I don't think Emirates is "officially" flying to LGG.
The emirates 744 we see are owned by TNT and operated by TNT.

Now, if Emirates buys new planes, maybe TNT can take back those 2 and use them for a bigger extention in Asia ... (remember they expect 3 777 already)

Dunno who they were before and what they did, but they intend to use LGG more :
After 13 years we decided it was time to change our business identity. Over the past years the charter landscape we work in has changed drastically, we now also offer scheduled services and just recently we relocated our daily operations to a new location. The number of destinations we fly to has increased to more than 40 destinations across Africa, Europe, Asia, South-America and the Middle East. A redesign of the house style was therefore necessary to place our image back in line with our identity.

Summer season 2011, the eigth IATA Summer Season of our (TNT) Passenger Operations will cover most of Thomas Cook's flights out of Liege Airport, operating to Morocco, Greece, Tunisia and Spain on a B737/300 with 148 seats.

2 leased 777 for Ethiopian.

So we can expect 5 different 777 (with the TNT's) this year. Quite nice.
EDIT : em, no. September and October 2012. That's one year later ;)

Good summary of everything that is not working in wallonia.
Lovely stuff. And they are not even ashamed of it...

Ho ho, dear members, let us stay on course. :!:
And to add something positive about the so called negative news from both sides: now it comes in the media and something will be done about it.

my region is wallonia, and i'm not affraid to criticize our own mess !
Wallonia has 2 issues : this kind of dirty governance and the unability to recognize it.
And what's a pitty also is to answer each flaw by another flaw on the other side. That's not helping !
Regi : I hope you are right, but when the official answer is "since the results are good, why bother", i have many doubts.
