We all remember the story about a big order for "green" A320 freighters...Is it still on the drawing board ?
Well I think the 320 F is still on the drawing board himself, the design office used to "draw" the deck door is Russian ( Ithink ...)parts would be produced in Russia and A/C conversion to freighter would be done at Dresden as it is now for the A300/310.

It would be a really good move for TNT to be launch customer for the 320F, It would change from bulk (737)to palettized cargo for the belly Cargo compartment.

It's "too late" I think ... but I really wonder how they will replace those 737 ...
Acid, your question about Russian Polet in LGG. Route is PVG-Novossibirsk-LGG, Maybe for TNT or ... Avient?
Eurex cargo will also have PVG-LGG once a week.
Both a doing small volume but are new customers it seems.
I really wonder for who they are flying ...

It seems it's not so easy for LGG mgmt to attract new companies.
Maybe they count on the new lenght of the track ?
On the other had, the current companies seems all in good health, at least in the 3 first month of 2010. April seems much more calm.

Depends on which way you look at it...

Yes, volumes have increased substantially compared to 2009.
Yes, new aircraft will be added

But don't forget,

we are still on a 9-digit (!) cost cutting programme, which was launched at the beginning of the crisis
we are 7 aircraft less since the crisis (6 A300 and 1 BAe146)

Kind regards,
GR.

Does that mean that the contracts with ABX and Icelandair will be ended?

Indeed impressive ;)

The (almost closed) MST people must go grazy "We from LGG advise LGG" by seeing this

Sadly their are 'almost' no LGG movements and LGG photo's on Airbag (Planespotting - Belgium).
Come on, poeple show us your LGG pictures ;)

Started 1st of November 2009.

There is the TNT hanger, which has been there since 1998.
Currently no plans for additional facilities in LGG.
No backshop activities either.

Heavy maintenance by X-air is due to start soon, however not at LGG but at BRU Hangar 8.

Kind regards,
GR.
