If nobody find, I will give you some clues.

Not an easy one!

Is it something with Civil Aviation ... Authority?

That's the only thing I can think off.

No, C.A.C.A. is a technological concept. Only props aircrafts are concerned (currently, I don't think it is used, but it will be in the near future).

That's one good question! I've no idea what it could be, but I won't give up.

I tried to google it, but it was unsuccessful!

That's a very tough question Seb !!!

Is that CACA concept related to the flaps of the turboprops ?

Nope!

Well, you say C.A.C.A. for a quadri and A.C. for a bi (P-38 lightning).

Can't say more!

********JACKPOT********

WE'VE GOT A WINNER HERE!

C.A.C.A. means effectively Clockwise-Anticlockwise-Clockwise-Anticlockwise

Image

This concept increases the stability of the aircraft, so you don't need a big tail so you reduce the tail size and save some weight. Since you reduced the tail size, you can also reduce the flap size and save more weight! Etc...

Your turn André!

Like most of you know, SN Brussels Airlines has a frequent flyer programme called Privilege. Privilege normally gives you a free ticket for 20,000 miles. It currently offers free tickets to a certain destination for a greatly reduced number of miles.

My question is threefold:

Which is that destination? How many miles will be deducted from your account to get you there and back? What is the validity of this offer?

Correct, Chris. I am seriously thinking at flying to Jersey with my wife and FF miles. Previously the cheapest (in airmiles) ticket I got was with Sabena to Edinburgh: 5,000 miles return.

Your turn, Chris!
