Hmmmm, I'm not sure where I will spot, it will depend on the situation.
Does spotting aircraft before a flight also counts?

Well, at least I will see the following airports:

- AMS
- PEK (Beijing)
- PVG (Shanghai Pudong)
- LHR/LGW (Depening on my financial situation)

Not sure how things will work out, but I'm sure that I can take at least some pictures at the airports described above.

Brussels, Amsterdam and perhaps in August Mallorca

There have been some great spotting reports on here already  I really envy those of you who get the chance to spot loads of times in a year.

And of course spotting before a flight counts just as much, that is how most of my spotting takes place, I only get two spotting trips in a year and the rest of the time I add a bit of time before a flight to indulge in my favourite hobby  Even better when I can get some video as well.

I already visited CDG and FRA this year, but this summer I'm planning the following 4-day trip:

CGN-ZRH-VIE-STN.

Thanks to all the lowcost airlines

Well it'll be CLT for me, ofcorse. I wish I'd have had my camera on me yesterday. I saw a 744 owned by Polar Air, Sky One's 72, Independence Air's 319, and an American 76. These I don't see on a regular basis.

@Meerkat

due to strong securety you won't get to go to the gates when you don't have a boardingpass.
I've been going for the last few years and security is stronger every year.
10 years ago you could go at the gates to pick someone up but now you have to stay at the checkin terminal.
Sotty about that, you will have to do the spotting from the terminal you are using for your flights or outside the building.
I'm returning this year in oktober on vacation.
Flights: BRU-ATL-SAN + SAN-LAS + LAS-ATL-BRU

I'll try to make a lot off airline related pictures.

Greetings
Marc

Hey, you could always just get a Part Time airline job and spot at work.

@ryanvsnow

No green card ... no job ...... no spotting

I'll have to do the spotting as a tourist and I fly Delta.

Greetings

I am off to Manchester tomorrow, on an early train (06:33) to catch the morning landings (we will arrive at around 09:15) and see the heavies. My sources have told me that there is nothing unusual expected, but there will be some good baggings anyway because there's always plenty to see at MAN

So far this year I was at:

1. AMS (quite often): good photo opps, wide variety of airlines/-liners
2. BRU (several times): especially during weekends because of the cargo visitors
3. ANR: perfect stop along the way to BRU
4. CDG: good photo opps, wide variety of airlines/-liners
5. CGN (several times): suggestion: make an evening trip because of FedEx & UPS
6. DTM
7. DUS (several times): the most perfect photo opps!
8. EIN (every day): my home field, 24 new Il76's in one year!
9. FDH: because of the Aero 2005 fair
10. FRA: good photo opps, wide variety of airlines/-liners
11. LBG: one of the extreme bizzer fields
12. LGG: the worst airport I have ever been to, but necessary for TNT
13. MUC: good photo opps, pretty wide variety of airlines/-liners
14. MST (several times): nice for rare cargo visitors
15. NUE
16. SXB

Coming up this summer:
AMS
CDG
DUS
FRA
LBG
LGW
LHR
MAN
ORY

And who knows what else might happen...

Grtz.
