The Kingfisher deal now is official:
India's Kingfisher Airlines said it had signed firm contracts for 15 Airbus aircraft, including five A350s, five A380s and five A330s.
Deliveries of the A330s are due to begin in the third quarter of 2007, and those of the superjumbo double-deck A380s in 2010, while deliveries of the planned A350 jets will begin in 2012.

This topic is a really good idea! Thanks for the updates, B744skipper!

@everybody: Did you notice there is no 50 seater jets ordered yet? This is due to the high oil prices!

Regards

Seb.

This order book looks very good indeed. Let's hope many other orders will be announced the rest of the week.

Air Caraïbes today signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Airbus for the purchase of two A330-300s. Following the success of Air Caraïbes on its transatlantic routes, the airline has decided
to replace its current A330-200s by the larger capacity A330-300s. These aircraft will be delivered in November 2007 and June 2008.

What about this one:

European plane maker Airbus said on Thursday that new Indian low-cost carrier IndiGo had orderered 100 of its A320-family jets.

The orders books are getting really full now, the aviation business in the Middle East and Asia are growing like crazy (hopefully the good times for aviation have started now), I hope that they won't grow too quickly (like People Express that collapsed under its own weight).

Nevertheless, great to see al those massive orders flowing in! :D

If this Indigo order for a flabbergasting 100 planes goes through, it just means:" Boeing, pack your belongings and go home."
And there still has to be made a major new order for A380's and maybe some extra A350's. This afternoon or tomorrow.
Some extra arab airlines have to fill in the paperwork.
Gulf, we are waiting!

I can just see the big bosses at Airbus laughing their *** off right now!
"We're number One, we're ..."

Still, it is really obvious Boeing got the 'good' orders, while a lot of Airbus orders are from startups & airlines that haven't even started yet...

Who knows what else is to come...
