Paris Air Show - Le Bourget 2005 orders

Post by B744skipper »

I created this topic so we can have some overview. In this topic in we all can list the orders made which are made at the airshow. I think that will show much clearer who has ordered how much with which manufacturer, then it would show with dozens of seperate topics around.

- Qatar has said at the airshow it plans to buy up to 60 Airbus A350's, both -800's and -900's.
They also announced they were likely to order up to 20 B777's, the 777-300ER to be specific.

- Sky Europe has ordered 16 Boeing B737-700 Blended Winglets Systems with another 16 options.

Here is the next order:

- Finncomm orders 8 ATR42-500s and 8 options to replace the Saab 2000 and 340 that Gold Air operates for them on Finnish domestic routes for Finnair, which will be taken over by Finncomm with the new ATR-42's.

Source, unfortunately only in French.

Andries, you can't count the SkyEurope Winglet purchase as an aircraft sale...
The actual aircraft were ordered a while ago.

I didn't say it was an 'aircraft sale', I said it was an 'order' !

According to some sources, Air Europa will announce an order of 30 B737NG's tommorow !
