What to do with all these word-games in the pub?

I used to like coming to Luchtzak and reading about aviation, now I come by a couple of times, only to see a lot of topics that have NOTHING to do with AVIATION...
If you want jokes, games, etc...., go to "jokes.com" or "games.com"
The only exception I think is the Cityguide-forum, because aviation has a lot to do with traveling, and the cityguides allso have to do with that

They are an interesting read, the games/jokes/what if?/.... topics are NOT!

I would allso call on the admin's to get back to the core-bussines (the thing that made this site the great site it is now), and let the other sites do the things that don't belong here...

Images like this make my *sigh* and *sigh*, I can't be there all the time. In fact the administrators can't be there all the time. We support our dearest members to submit all the latest aviation news via the 'submit news'-button just to avoid things like this

People often fly off somewhere and then wonder what to do when they get there, and advice from someone who has been or knows a place is a thousand times better than advice in a guide book. I think Cityguide is a perfect compliment to the aviation forums and rounds the site off nicely.

I made this topic 'sticky' as there where too many birthday-topics in the luchtzak-pub. Just to keep a good overview in that forums. And don't worry, I am 100% sure that when people start discovering this topic they will visit more often!

Seems like I was right way back in July last year, I think there has been a suitable trial period , don't you, after 10 months?

I did submit some of what I posted as news articles as well but I also had some related questions hence them being posted in the forum as well

If you want to wish some-one a happy birthday, that's very nice, but send a PM. I am very much against an individual topic for everyone's birthday!!!
We are nearing 10000 members, Imagine the amount of topics it would create!

We need to get back to aviation, with the pub on the side, instead of the pub, with aviation on the side...

Indeed Buzz, the only birthday-topic is there. We will not allow people to create multiple topics for each birthday.
