BRU 22/05/2005 Pictures

Post by Stoney »

Only spent a few hours in Bru today, all landings were on 25R so I was screwed for approach shots near the watertower (I came by train). Had to walk all the way to the sandhill to get some decent take off shots... Very nice view from there, allthough I could have used some extra mm's...
Aviajet is new for me, first time I see it, is it a regular for Brussels?

Hi Stoney,

The A310 is a very nice catch !

According to the spotters DB she was seen inside hangar 41 a few days ago :

18/05/2005 TF-ELR A310-324 Aviajet noted f/c in hangar 41, ex Corsair

I was at the airport too between 07:45 and 13:45, but I'm still busy with editing and uploading pics (and the screening at PP is slow the last few days). I'll post my pics over here in the upcoming days.

Regards, Robin Bamps.

The Aviajet is very nice. Pretty it's not a regular visitor, only for maintenance

Hello

VERY nice pics , my congrats!!! Indeed the AviaJet is a VERY nice special visitor.

And RWY20 shots are among my favorites (my top favorite in take-off) , why?? Simply because you don't have that angle of taking off anywhere else at the airport that is perfectly accessible and under that lightconditions.

Very nice

Best regards: Yannick ;)

Thanx for the suggestion but I don't like the compression fotopic uses, and besides, we have airliners.be so why bother for anything less?

av8or_guy, where you also standing on the sandhill? If so, I was the one with the d70 and the very flashy tshirt ;)

If the runway configuration is good the sandhill is an excellent spot, especially for the terminal backdrops...

Looks like there is another very nice weekend coming up, but I don't know yet if I can make it to the airport, will have to convince the girlfriend :-)

Hello;

I stood on 25R the 22nd.

Nice to know the reg. from the aviajet, a 300mm lens is a bit to small
for planes heading for RWY20 via taxiway E6.
