Here we've got a winner:
rotor wrote:Then the German Ju 322 'Mammut' was bigger I think, but it was a prototype.
The (German) Air Ministry emited in the summer of 1940 specifications for a giant glider to carry large amount of men or vehicles by air. The candidate of Messerschmitt, the Gigant resulted in the largest glider of the war, whereas its competitor, the Mammut was a total flop.

The mammut was bigger, but it never goes beyond the prototype stage.
So, two answers were available:

- Messerschmitt Me-321 Gigant (34.400 Kg MTOW)

(Me-323 6 engines powered version)

- Junkers Ju-322 Mammut (36.000 Kg MTOW)

rotor, it's your turn

If a medium weight plane lands behind a heavy plane, what has to be the minimum spacing? I want a distance in NM and a time in minutes.

The separation minimum for a medium following a heavy, the distance is 5nm. De time distance for arriving en departing is 2 minutes, or 3 minutes for take off from an intermediate position.
