It`s going good with easyjet from Maastricht
De prijsvechter zegt erg tevreden te zijn over de lancering van de route tussen Maastricht Aachen Airport en Berlijn. Sinds het het moment dat er voor deze route geboekt kan worden (23 februari) hebben 30.000 passagiers een ticket gekocht. Ongeveer zeventig procent van de passagiers op dit traject vliegt vanuit Nederland naar Duitsland. Maar volgens easyJet neemt het aantal boekingen met Berlijn als startpunt dagelijks toe.

Today Eayet announced that almost 30.000 passengers booked a ticket on the Maastricht - Berlin route. This service runs from the beginning of april this year.

Good stuff ... everyone lieks to insult these low cost airlines but I welcome them. They give us all the chance to fly to places we may not have been able to afford before and are opening up the planet to everyone.

I'm considering on flying them on that route, So I guess it wont be an empty plane than ...

Do you know if the A319 is doing fine for EZY. I mean are they happy with it ? Any technical issues ? Load factors okay ?

Good to see airlines like easyjet running services from MST. Lets hope this sends a message to other airlines in the region that the Maastricht Aachen area can sustain services.
