Another Boeing order in India, this will no doubt upset Airbus again.

I thought this was a forum re to aviation news ... it looks more and more like a chauvinistic battle ground.
Am seriously wondering who is regarding who as "a country of elephants and snakes"? ALso, news are interesting these days re India being now officially part of the group of 4 countries almost sure of joining UN security council. There was also a really interresting article about the fact a certain proposal for 50 planes from a US manufacturer was more expensive than the one from a European Manufacturer. Oh that's right, the article said that the North American Manufacturer promised larger returns on this order despite not having reached these promised returns in the past and making this promise on a plane for which they still did not come up with the composite materials nescessary to reach them.
Sincerely
An astonished citizen of this country who seem to be calling others "country of elephants and snakes"

Sincere Apologies if i have hurt either your or anyone's sentiments. My suggestion was based on the press statements that Airbus has made in the past. Not that i am anti Airbus or pro Boeing, just that there is a resentment.

And yes the talk of having a permanent seat, does tilt much
