What do you mean with evacuated ? Are there still some pax on board ?

And can you tell us in which area the plane is located?

No I don't thank that OA is bancrupt. Why should they put a plane on a remote stand with fire trucks and police cars next to it when an airline goes bancrupt ?

This story sounds strange.

Anybody with more info ?

Sabena flight academy. Which is located next to runway 25L and the fuel tanks.

It was supposed to be a bom threat. That's why special dogs and fire man were standing next to the aircraft. Currently everybody has deboarded the plane.

Strange, as there isn't an OA flight scheduled for this evening, following biac.be arrivals/departures

Flight OAL270 from LHR diverted to BRU.
Probably OAL was warned there was a bomb on board.
A/C came in on the 02 and was directly led to a remote location at the a/p.
Never seen so many police and firetrucks around an a/c

That particular remote position is THE place to park aircrafts with problems, can't remember the name of that zone though :?

I shouldn't call it like that, first of all who informed about the bomb on board? Psychological help for passengers and crew, etc.... So not end of story yet!

Belga reports that the routing was ATH-LHR (and not LHR-ATH).

134 passengers on board apparently... not bad for a Saturday evening.

Four years ago i saw a similar thing to this. Also a bomb threat on an Sobelair plane. That time also the seaking was part of the threat and was there with the fire department.

De Standaard took it over and also reports ATH-LHR, but I think it must be incorrect.

BAA Real time flight information arrivals: 21.15 OA265 ATHENS LANDED 2101

AIA Real time flight information arrivals: London LHR OLYMPIC AIRLINES OA 270 14/05/05 22:10 Late

So I guess it was the LHR-ATH. 8)

It's sad to see the Belgian press making so many mistakes, the last months it has only become worse
