Can you confirm this aircraft was performing an approach around 12:45 ? When I was having my lunch at work I noticed an airplane with radar dish on it's back approaching the 08 at EBOS and then performing a touch and go or go around....
Reg + airline anyone?
Grtz
Davy

He seems to be flying circles over EBOS... just saw him at about 4000 to 6000 feet overflying Oostende via the casino..

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Really lovely pictures Nico and Andries ! It seems you also had the lucky weather today to nail such a beauty in...
It remembers me to my visit to GKE last year :

Almost the some weather conditions at that time (and the same type of plane
)
Regards, and congrats once again !

Nice pics from both of you...
A plane like that is one of the best reasons to skip class Andries, so don't feel guilty

Yes, during my lunchbreak I got 2 SMS about the presence of the 707. But even when I would not have got those, I would have seen it, cause on my way to school, I can see the approach of 26 (or climb-out of 08 ) for a pretty long time, so I would have noticed.
Greetz,
Andries

Nice pictures you
all made !
Yes at GKE you can see them daily. They are a regular in overflying Maasmechelen, same like the F-16s from Kleine Brogel. It's nice to live a few minutes from MST en GKE
Best Regards

Hello
Tssss...well you can't expect them to be correct always!
:D:D
Do they write such things in the paper too this days?
And what did they told....was it on a special mission or something? Is it SO special , an AWACS doing some touch and go's at OST?
Best regards: Yannick

And I bet Becuwe or Vanparys wouldn't even have said a thing about going to EBOS instead of going to their class

"And what did they told....was it on a special mission or something? Is it SO special , an AWACS doing some touch and go's at OST?"
This is the mentality created by the Wiloo guys of the local press... There are so many restrictions and rules created, that it is becoming special when an aircraft lands in EBOS
