Antwerp Stampe fly-in 07/05/2005 log & pics

I visited the first day of the Stampe Fly-in at Antwerp this afternoon. THe amount of participants wasn't that large as previous editions but Spitfire G-CCCA made the trip worth while

Hello

If only I had known that before....I would had payed it a visit. After all , I was a whole weekend in Antwerp this time...and only several miles from the airport (2,5).

Only this morning I realised something was going on. I heard a hell of a noise and knowing it was an airplane I rushed to the terrace. There I saw that whole 'gorilla' ((large) formation) of Oldtimers...and escorted by two Cessna models.

Was sure worth of it seeing them overflying my room.
