Great shots Vonsmal.
The Tristars are flying for Onur Air at the moment.
Saterday they also had 2 Jumbo's (Pullmantur and Air PLus Comet) flying into SPL for them.

Best Regards,
Yvo

Splendid pictures Vonsmalhausen, it really seems that AMS is the Tri-jet capital of the world, and that seems to include the L-1011 now also

I really should have been at AMS last Sunday. The weather was splendid, and because the L1011 is one of my favourite aircraft types, I would have had a really marvelous day over there !

Seeing your pics, I have an additional question : did all three L1011's land at runway 18R? When I go to AMS again, I'll be near that runway too I guess (if in use).

Regards, Robin Bamps.

I do have a question about this bird:

Image

I thought that with the summer schedule change CO didn't use the B777 to AMS/EHAM anymore. It all should be changed to B762 and B764's. Because the Triple 7's would have been needed elswhere (to Asia I think).
But it seems that the B777 is still flying to AMS, can anyone tell me why?

Thanks in advance.

Karl and Thomas, Very nice batch both of you posted here ;)

Maybe I'll drive to AMS when I have the time, and to test my new equipment (and also making me final choice of lens ...)
