is it just me or is the writer of this article extremely unsympathetic to Airbus and its A380?

...and why is it 873 passengers now? Initially it was 555 to 800 passengers, and than it became up to 840 pax. Where do the 873 come from?

The "873 passengers" number includes also the flight crew. So it makes something around 850 pax. If the test fails, then they can redo it with less pax (800+23).

No I think it is just realistic, as he says, an aircraft has to be evacuated within those 90sec. stated by EASA and the FAA whenever it is an Airbus or an Boeing.
I just hope that the A380 will pass her exam...
