It is reported that Estonian state is about to sell their remaining 34% into national carrier Estonian Air. SAS already stated they wanted to increase their current stake (49%) into Estonian Air.

Well, I'm not astonished at all about that : the Estonian state doesn't consider it anymore since quite some time as their "mission" to own or have a stake in a "national" airline ... And I guess they are right : the young Baltic states have other priorities to assume than this one ...
But : on the other hand it's quite obvious that the "hacking sword" of the Star Alliance rules drives it also this way.
OV closed recently his MUC route while this was one of their most promising destinations last year ; they now offer a night flight to Milan ...
Really seems like SAS (and the other Star partners) make the rules and consider OV more and more like their playground for testing some destinations or ... to re-build it as a counterpart for the low-cost guys who are hungry to take it all over in the Baltics.

Leopold
