November 12 2004 Air Canada orders 15 EMBRAER 175 aircraft
"Air Canada today announced that it has reached an agreement to purchase 15 EMBRAER 175 aircraft configured to seat 73 passengers. The order also contemplates the potential for Air Canada to exercise options to acquire 15 additional Embraer aircraft. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in July 2005. The EMBRAER 175...will be deployed throughout Air Canada's North American network."

(Hmmm..'think the webmaster knows the dif between the 175 & the 190?)

Anyways, on AC's web site the 175 is shown as part of the "current fleet", in use from June 2005. "Typical" configuration is 73 (9 Executive, 64 Hospitality).

Let's see, ordered in November, expected in July, in the air by June...not bad, eh?

This colour looks like one of those Urinal Cake things in airport toilets.
