Actually, 6dB difference means 8 times as loud...
Actually, 6db difference means less than 4 times as loud...

@ cj_chan:
Welcome to the forum. Indeed, China Southern has officially ordered 5 A380 recently during our prime minister visit to China.

Regards

Seb.

Great shots indeed Brubiac ... I must have been a wonderfull feeling to witness such an historical event ?!

By the way ... does someone knows how long it takes to build one A380 ?
I saw they already started building Singapore's first A380, isn't it going to be ready before the end of the testflights ?

Thanks for the reactions,

it was indeed a very speciale feeling when I saw the lift off. All the people screeming and applausing, it gave me goosebumps...

The same feeling with the flyby and the landing, everyone went crazy.

Hi Brubiac, it seems you had an exceptional viewpoint for making such excellent pictures. Where were you sitting? In the VIP stand?

No, I was standing outside the fence. In the morning the VIP's had the sun in front of them. If you look at the picture of Sam Chui on Airliners.net, you can see what I mean. The people outside the airport had a much better view and sunlight on the airplane. The best view that the VIP's had was with the landing straight in front of them.

With the flyby/landing/rollout I was standing at a hill just outside the Airbusfacilities where you have a excellent view over the airport.
