The aircraft looked far more "Flighty" than I expected! I know a funny way of putting it, but was anyone else surprised.
A true day to remember we are all seeing history in these moments. It feels very cool!
Have you seen how Boeing tried to minimise the event and get the attention to itself by announcing large orders for its own aeroplanes during the last few days?
Note that they didn't lift the landing-gear after take-off, any particular reason why? And will they lift the landing-gear above the Atlantic Ocean? And which kind of tests will be performed today?
They retracted the landing gear and flaps at 10,000ft apparently but as to what other test they will do on this flight i don't know for sure ,it will be interesting to be able to read the report on the flight later on if its made available ,i think its a great day for aviation what ever the outcome in the future don't you think, regards.
I'm very lucky I saw the take-off this morning. I'm here in Lyon for about 3 months (stage), I'm just a little one between all those people here, but my tutor did everything she could to let me follow the take-off! Many thanks to her! It was just amazing...
i bet that was the smoothest of all possible landings with a giant plane such as the a380!
wow no noise at all not anywhere near what i was expecting!...
bravo airbus !
thanks of the coverage cnn!
wow is her name and let her fly and let us say her name in awe!
