If you participated in one of the A380 games on airbus.com you received a login and a password to enter their broadcast.

German TV-station ZDF will have a special program with live coverage of the maiden flight. Start at 9h45 LT. Ends around 10h30 LT.

So what is the exact time that it will fly?? Any word if any American news teams will be out there. Since it is a historic event in aviation, I'm very interested!!

Flight should be planned at around 10LT! I'm watching BBC now, but I will switch to ZDF from time to time! My videorecorder is set! (What a luck I'm sick today :D )

Good morning to all of you.
It looks like this is a very important and good day for all aviation freaks. If you don't have a special username and password for the airbus live broadcast you could try this link and it should work.

Enjoy!

What a luck I have the week off today...and yesterday, and tomorrow and... well you get it. Too bad I couldn't make it to TLS however, that just wasn't possible. But, I still will fly the MD-11 tomorrow CDG-AMS.

Anyway, back to the A380 now. The Airbus live broadcasting is up and running, albeit in a low image size (something like 300x200 pixels). BBC and CNN are doing some reports now and then. Seems like there's alot of people along the airfield. Just imagine being a pilot at TLS and having to leave for your flight back to the base right now. That must be hard to deal with.

There we have the pushback!!

Hope it flies :D

Ivan

Seems like the Airbus.com live stream is running some 30 seconds behind the CNN live footage... So you could see the first flight twice :D
