Hi, guys. We did the first flight on monday, MRS. Finally we started flying. There is only one ex-Croatia Airlines CA, all other are either new or ex Air Adriatic. The second aircraft has been bought, a MD-83 ex-Swiss as far as I know. It is now in SR techinc doing checks. It is a bit different MD-83 with only one, but bigger aux tank.

Well, there were one or two pictures, but I don't know how to post them :(

Anyway, I was FO on the flight DBV_MRS_DBV. It was great to see all the things we planned for months come to life. The season in Dubrovnik is starting, and now is the best time to be there. The weather is not hot, there aren't too many people, really great for a quiet vacation.

The flight itself was OK, nothing special.

As you say, that the flight itself was OK, nothing special makes me more curious.

Please see our pictures post at Luchtzak. You need to open an coppermine account and then you can share the pictures with all of us.

A second MD 80series was ordered; so I guess that Aerocroatia, seeing that shedules are overlapping, is concluding that the second plane has become operational !

Dubrovnik Airline has finnaly recieved the second MD-80. But I don't know the c/n. First flights are sheduled on Monday to France.

In the other news the ailine has changed ICAO code to DBK instead of DBV.

Thank you AeroCroatia for the valuable update.

Wonder why would the airline change the ICAO code to DBk from DBV unless someone else was using it or there was pressure from a certain quarter.

Anyone?
