This is a fact. However, it cannot serve as an argument.

The story goes that the Germans were looking for an empty place near Brussels to build an airfield. Some locals told them about a nice place called Melsbroek, knowing there was a lot of fog there that would hamper the German operations...

I did send comments to Bruxelles Air Libre by e-mail and I immediately got a reply, saying a.o. that a route to China will serve the interests of the Chinese and help delocalise industry to that country, thus eliminating rather than creating jobs in Belgium. Etc.

Okay guys, willow has many completely different meanings. But I am sure that an average Chinese who is asked what it means, will ask back "Can you eat it?"

The reason was that they made decisions about which runway to use based on environmental concerns before weather issues. If an aproach path had exceeded it's noise limits, they would use a different one.
Schiphol still has to take decisions based on environmental issues!!!
This is exactly what those green parties prefer to see because chance of an accident is getting bigger this way.
What do you think will happen when something happens on SPL?
Exactly, new food for those *beep* *beep* green parties!

There is a new press release from Bru Air Libre. They wrote that they have send a letter to all 'possible' new airlines who want to organise new flights to Zaventem, we know that they have done it, but to all those airlines??? They are crazy!!! It' s the same letter as they send to Hainan.
They will make from Zaventem only an inter-European Airport.
It's ridicules that they say Brussels is an National Airport, for them not because they don't want the noise and all the rest.
