i've been in a few of those airports, but for me, brussels, my home airport stays the nicest. not to busy, clean, friendly people.

i think Ams is a bit to big and busy, and Dubai has some nice shops, but toilets and stuf aren't the cleanest i've seen.

Interestingly, Munich comes out as the best European airport. Since the opening of magnificent Terminal 2, I can confirm that this airport is indeed superb. I only regret that there is still too much use of buses to go to the planes. Walking distances are also somewhat long.

But on luchtzak.be only 44 members voted whereas skytrax attracks many thousands of voters, besides I don't consider this forum-vote totally valid as not all airports are included.

I've never been to HK, but I know Changi is the best airport I've been to....way better than Dubai. In Europe, I've landed at Heathrow, Frankfurt and Vienna, and Vienna is the best of those. Abu Dhabi is a cute, convenient little airport, easy to get around in, if a bit crouded at times. The worst; Heathrow and Pearson in Toronto....the biggest pains you'll ever fly through, with Heathrow taking the prize for most expensive to be stuck in, (>$20 for a cheeseburger and a beer).

Hello

Depending on what you have to count it will be a totally different airport.

Is it the most modified airport , the larges economically growing airport , the busiest airport , THE MOST INTERESTING airport to SPOT...etc...

But I guess I would rate MY personal top like this:

Busiest airport:

-New York JFK
-Londen LHR
-Hong-Kong of Singapore

Most interesting to spot:

-Sydney
-Singapore/Hong-Kong
-Los Angeles LAX
-New York JFK
-Londen LHR

But that would be a bit a personal rate to what I saw about that airports and the variety in aircraft types and airlines....and the number of those flights in variety and speciality grade...small or big flights...

And the award goes to....???

Best regards: Yannick ;)

Hmmm you think there is an anti North American voting going on. I found YVR, MCO and DEN to be very impressive.
