Stating the obvious!

As the plane was touching down in Melbourne, the pilot could see warning signs that the brakes, which are in the wheels of the 747-400, were overheating.

The above was taken from a news item today.

I just wonder where else the brakes may have been located?

It wasn't the spelling I was commenting on but the the fact that the reporter had expressly pointed out that the brakes were in the wheels.
