Air Belgium Cargo presented
Today the air Belgium management presented it's newest project, a freighter department. It should begin operations somewhere end 2005/beginning 2006 with a fleet of 5 Bae 146-300QT, 3 B737-300QC, 1 B757-200F, 2 B767-300ERF and 1 B747-200F out of EBOS. In the future the fleet will get additional aircraft to keep it competitive, for example the air Belgium MD11's will go to Cargo once they leave the Passenger fleet after the PAX A380's are delivered. On the long-term Air Belgium Cargo's B742's will be replaced by a mix of new B744ERf and A380F.
But in the meantime enjoy these shots of the First B733Qc wich will be used for PAX charters during the summer months:

Hehehehe ,
Danny , Some little comments
I mean you have a complete fleet of a whole bunch of Airbusses over the whole line (A-318 to A-340) ... Covering allmost the entire world ... and now you are adding the competing boeing 737-3Q , 757 and 763 as a freighter ... 8O
I believe to stay a little realistic to maybe pic a A300-600F for example.
It's nice that your adding things all the time , but I think it's going a little too quick . You have a huge fleet covering almost the entire world and now allready after +-( one year after launch) you are starting a Cargo Division. Your expanding a little to quick i think
It's good that you are very enthousiast , but don't let your enthousiasm take over the realism of your Virtual Airline

Well the cargo fleet came with a take-over, and unfortunatly there still isn't an A320F (otherwise we would have taken it instead of the B737). About the A306F I have to agree that it would have been a more logical plane, but there we have the problem of not having a decent model with a decent paintkit. At this point the cargo divisions fleet might even still change and we haven't got a fixed start date yet. Maybe the date of our second anniversary would be nice (somewhere in January)...
Totally have to agree there , have troubles to finding a good Model or Paintkit !sab319 wrote:About the A306F I have to agree that it would have been a more logical plane, but there we have the problem of not having a decent model with a decent paintkit.
Maybe Any suggestions Anyone ?
