CO uses it's B757s to a large number of Trans-Atlantic routes (to MAN, EDI, BHX, AMS this summer...)
AA uses some of them during the summer to Europe for extra routes or capacity.
What about Miami ? Wake up please ?

(I think Skyservice Airlines is planning this summer a Toronto-London route using B757 correct me if I am wrong)
I am asking this because I reckon the B757 to be a solid candidate for thin-flow medium to long haul business routes that so many smaller operators are cherishing.
Snba wake up !
Don't forget that the B757 and the carrier need to be certified with an ETOPS of 120 minutes to fly Bru-Mia. The RR and PW engines ar certified. Whit type of engine is AA flying?

Well AA is flying both, thanks to the TWA take-over, AA is the world's only airline wich operates B757-200's with both engines...liebensd wrote:

Yes, but you can't compare a BOS/JFK/EWR-EDI/MAN/BHX route tou a MIA-BRU route IMHO.OrientThai wrote:CO uses it's B757s to a large number of Trans-Atlantic routes (to MAN, EDI, BHX, AMS this summer...)

AMS is in the summerseason served by the B762 and the B764 (EWR and IAH) I think.
Continental operates sometimes a B752 to EDI (don't know if it's scheduled or not)sn-remember wrote:at Jense:

@ Bruspotter: the 752 can't operate MIA-BRU as it's a lot out of it's range.

American operates sometimes a B752 to MAN (again: don't know if it's scheduled or not).
Be aware, more routes are served with the B752; Glasgow and Shannon are two of them I think.
Range of the B752 is 3900 nm with maximum passengerload (as displayed on the Boeing-site). Distance MIA-BRU is 4035 nm.
Let's hope.sn-remember wrote:Snba wake up !
EDIT: corrected the range of the B752
