It would have been nicer to have a more equalized composition, but I'm sure Airbus didn't choose them for their nationalities but for their competence.
There is somethingworrying about those pictures. First of all, again, this plane looks really too big. Just impression.
Secondly, look at those guys. They are old. I mean, it looks like they take the pilots who are closed to their pensions. If something happens now, well, who cares?
Cynical, I know.

Could be something to do with the fact they are some of the best and most experienced pilots in the world... What would you say if they were all 21...?
the truck is an 'Air start unit' used to start aircraft engines, usually when the APU is not available, the 'cables' are infact hose through which High Pressure air is passed with enough power to start the engines turning !
(or at least thats the easiest way I can explain it)
So the date for the first flight is not clear. A newspaper quoted the airbus spokeswoman, she said that it was immaterial whether the aircraft had its first flight on April 10, 15 or 23 given it was to be sold for the next 35 years.
Why do they always have to compare everything to the B747
Is that an obsession (the 747 has been flying for 35+ years)
