DAL ANC = 4911 km 6:04 and
DUB BOS = 4816 km 5:57
EDI BOS = 4939 km 6:06 @ an avg speed of 810kmh
If that 737-800 of yours needs 07:30 to get in ANC from DAL, it looks like making a stop somewhere, heathrow?
If that 737-800 flies @730kmh avg, it would need 06:44 still 3/4 of an hour less than 07:30. What calculations are made for that trip?

A 738 can make it from Boston to London and Paris with no problem. Now the real question is, would any pax want to fly on a 738 transatlantic?

It doesn't make sense for an airlines to fly BOS-CDG or BOS-LHR with a narrow body. But a route like BOS-Secondary european big towns can works (MAN, GLA, BHX, HAM, BOD, LYS...).

Okay sounds nice to me but transatalantic on a (probably with Ryanair) full pax 738!!!!!
Sorry but 3 of even 4 hours sounds nice to me but 7 up to maybe 9 hours including a needed fuel stop is going to be a little uncomfortable I think. But hey with 130 seats in a 737-800 things get a lot better

Those routes are ideally suited for, and often operated by, a B757
