I have made changes to my website!

Post by nwa757 »

Hello all. I just wanted to let you know that I have made many changes to my website. I have updated the page about Northwest and I have added a page about Northwest Airlink. I have also added more of my aviation photos. And I plan to add more in the future.

If you would like to check it out, my URL is http://nwa757.tripod.com

BTW: If you turn your volume up, you can hear a great jazz song by Brain Culbertson.

You have a pretty nice website, nwa757!

Is it possible you give a date with Northwest Airlink fleet numbers (64,35, 120 a/c)? Like this, I could be sure these numbers are still up-to-date. Also I see that the 64 Saab are operated by Mesaba, not Republic. Since I'm not up-to-date myself about NA Carriers, I just want you confirm this.

Thank you!

Seb.

Good idea about fleet numbers. I will add that to the page soon. Yes the Saab 340s are operated by Mesaba. Republic Airlines/Chautauqua does not operate any of Northwest Airlink's flights. The Republic Airlines that is referred to on the site, was a former MSP based carrier that operated DC-9s, 727s, MD-80s, and 757s. They merged with Northwest Orient in 1986.

I believe that today's Republic operates EMB-170s for United Express and and its sister airline Chautauqua operates ERJs for American Connection, Delta Connection, United Express, and U.S. Airways Express.

I have added a cool fleet page that also includes the historical fleet (1926 to 2005). The link to that page is: http://nwa757.tripod.com/id6.html
