Hello Alistair  I think with LCC the only comparision you should net is with Air Deccan. And if you are talking in the airlines that are currently operating in India, then it would mean the others aka, Jet Airways or Air Sahara or Indian Airlines (U forgot IC) and also Alliance Air

It is alleged that there will be fashion shows on the plane, not sure but herad there will be inflight entertainment (audio + video ) on every seat...it will be first on domestics flights, but they do have to do something about the livery it is really too 'loud'.

Hey Beer in the Air. The promoter Dr.Vijay Mallaya is a cassanova and yes the main guy in the UB Group in India.

His hobbies include horse racing derbys and yes members of the opposite sex

I saw this on anet the other day.. To me I actually like the scheme ... another that beats alot of the crap that we see around lately.

It is smart and tidy but I agree it looks like a beercan  but afterall its owned by the beerman ? So it makes sense

Lol@mr casanova, Sounds like he knows how to enjoy life. All good!

Did you know :?:

That Pervez Damania of Kingfisher Airways had his own airline by the name of Damania Airways.

The "Funliners," as Kingfisher calls its aircraft, will start off with the first commercial flight between Mumbai and Delhi on May 7.

May 7th is the date that coincides with the 18th birthday of Vijay Mallya's son.

The Kingfisher "Funliners" will be powered by the IAE V2500-5A Engines manufactured by International Aero Engines - claimed to be the quietest and most fuel efficient engine option available in the world.
