BRU 23/03/2005 Log & Request : Abelag

Post by speedbird1 »

Managed to catch some sun down by Abelags 30 mins ago or so, with a few other photographers, where are all you spotters in Benelux!!!
Saw some good aircraft too, my highlight being a German Air Force Transall 50+82.

Requests for the day are as follows:

Excel B737
Sudan A300
Falcon 50 parked Abelags next to N235CM GulV

Cheers guys!

Hiya,

Excel Aw. 737-400 TF-ELJ
Sudan Aw. A300-600R F-WQTD

Don't know for sure which Falcon 50 you mean.
I've seen two:
9U-BTB DA50 Republique du Burundi
17401 DA50 Portugese AF

I guess it was the Portugese one because of the fact that the other was standing near the Abelag hangar.

By the way, pretty chance that you've seen me. I came in with another guy only very short and at that moment there were 4 photographers near the fence at Abelag. When we walked back to the terminal the German Transall departed.

Regards,
Chris

Hiya,

I also have a log and some requests for this day.
However this are the requests and the log will follow later due to work.

1- The registrations of both American 767's
2- Cimber Air CRJ departing 0945.
3- Danish AF CL6 dpearting 1315.
4- arriving Cit550, white with a grey nose at 1515
5- Crossair Emb145 departing 1525.

As promised, the log will follow.

Regards,
Chris

The reg on the Sudan isn't in my database by the way, it is a lesed aircraft or something? C/n number of anything like that!
The Falcon was the one parked nose on, to the Abelags building, next to a GulV.
By the way I was the guy with the shirt and tie on. Obviously I wasn't spotting during work time...!

The Sudan is cn 559.It is ex B-18575. It was supposed to wear ST-ASE but as far as I know it still wears its Airbus reg. It arrived in early December last year.
The Falcon was N344CM. It left early this morning

Chris
These are the answers that I have gleaned but remember this data is from flight plans so it is best to corroborate the data with another source:
1- The registrations of both American 767's N39367 and N348AN
2- Cimber Air CRJ departing 0945. No can do
3- Danish AF CL6 dpearting 1315. c-172
4- arriving Cit550, white with a grey nose at 1515 F-GJXX
5- Crossair Emb145 departing 1525. HB-JAN

First of all, thanks for the info Elnombre.

When anyone can give me more info about the Danish AF CL6 I would highly appreciate it. C-172 would be my last one, so I'm very interested to hear anything about it.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

Sorry to disapoint you but as the DSML says it looks like it was C-168. Mil plans are often the most inaccurate..

Hi Emirates,

Following the forum rules (https://www.aviation24.be/postt8814.html), requests have to be combined with logs. Like this, the number of requests will be lower as we can have a look at eachothers log first.

Please make an effort to post a log of what you saw on 23/3...

Thanks

Nice log. Though actually I didn't want to know I missed so much nice stuff. Only had time for a look-and-go at Abelag.

All these rules... The other day I put my log and request together for it to be split/moved for some reason. Then for the days spotting in question 23/03/05 I decide not to duplicate many regs that have already been reported and I am told to give my log as well? Also the title was changed by a moderator. I didn't even call it a log!

Hi Emirates,

This rule is not something which is only applied at luchtzak.be. A lot of yahoogroups from all over the world use this rule.

Don't forget that people like brubiac, pegasus, 744rules and several others put a lot of time in answering our requests. We can use eachother's log to reduce the number of requests as much as possible.

It doesn't take much time to make a log...
