Oei, Freepalestina! Do you have any clue why that was? And were the 12 others also wearing the same headgear?

Brussels to Amsterdam, Pan American 747, one week after that same flight had been hijacked to Cairo (and burned out there) by the PLO in 1970. That was the first jumbo to be lost.
Needfess to say, the following week the load was light - abou twenty, half of whom were probably security people. Nice flight, low and slow, my second in a 747, Later that year I was on the inaugural Pan Am flight to Sydney, with a larger load!

only passenger

A few years ago, it happened twice (on a Brussels to Luxembourg flight from Sabena) that I was the only passenger on board.

The first time I was invited to take place in the cockpit, where I assisted at the landing in Luxembourg airport.

Nice experience

Delta's newest low, todays flight from Brussels to New York 41 passengers.

On top the AC had to return to the gate for a technical problem.

January 1998, flying between Madrid and New York departing on a wednesday evening. Don't remember how many people but I had at least 10 rows in front of me and another 10 behind empty, the rest was just 1 person here and another there. I used the 4 middle sits as bed :D

24th December 2000, FRA-BCN, departing around 20:00 hrs. I bought it as last minute the day before. Some 15-20 people.

I remember a flight with SAS ticket (but operated by a subsidiary, don't remeber which one) from Zürich to Stockholm in 2001, late in the evening. There were 3 pax including myself.

What was striking was that I had to pay an additional 5000 BEF (+/- 125 EUR) since I missed my flight! Otherwise it would have been 2 ...

September, not sure the day. YYZ-LHR Virgin Atlantic in 2001. My mum had sent me home on a plane alone. There were 10 pax on a 747-200, as everyone was scared to fly after 9/11. I got to sit upstairs!
