Help! What is happening at Dubronvik Airlines, FOC150 & AeroCroatia. What Maaske shares is totally different as what Dubronvik had planned.

Dubrovnik Airlines is now planning to start charter operations on March 28 with a single MD-80. Dubrovnik Airport is no longer involved in the new start-up carrier. SOURCE. http://www.ch-aviation.ch/news.php

Hello,

I'm sorry, guys, I've been away for a while. This kind of livery was planned all along, I believe I have described it in one of my previous posts. The aircraft is an MD-83, and it is currently in the air somewhere between Indonesia and Croatia. Once it arrives we will have all the needed items for the AOC, which should be issued any day now. The other MD-80 will come soon. We have employed four candidates for FOs and the last preparations for flying are being finished. It's been an exhausting and exciting work, but now everyone feels great because a great thing has been made.

What is the livery that is going to be finalised now. The one with which the post was started or the one which is on this page????????

The livery will be as you have seen on the real photos + the picture of Dubrovnik should come behind the forward pax entrance door.

Hi all,

first posting on Luchtzak, after lurking for a long while... but I thought that maybe adding something to this thread is in order.

Spent last weekend in Cavtat (small village on the final for runway 12 at DBV) and yesterday I took a few shots of the Dubrovnik Airline MD83 which was parked on the apron also when I arrived in DBV last friday 18 March (around 2200 local). Unfortunately the shots are only taken from the window seat of the Croatia A319 which was about to take me back to ZAG->BRU.

I am quite convinced that the group of guys and girls seen in the pictures are going to be the flight attendants for the airline, and probably this was their first exposure to the airplane.

Also note that the registration was still the FAA one, though the registration was cancelled thursday last week:
http://162.58.35.241/acdatabase/NNumSQL ... rtxt=491GX

Funny to notice that in the link previously posted, the new Croatian registration was already shown together with a Croatian flag, while yesterday early afternoon (took the pics at 1340 local) there were no traces of the flag and new registration, so the plane must have been ferried with the US registration to DBV.

Found more information about this craft (not an ex-Alitalia!) and the airline over here:
http://www.planemad.net/Airline/HR/Dubr ... /Fleet.htm

If only the pics would be a tad better! :?

Bye, Luca (EBBR)

The tail of the plane is what lets it down. Really sucky Insignia.

If you go to Dubrovnik, try to stay in Cavtat (it looks like St.Tropez, transponed BEFORE the name became popular) and visit Dubrovnik coming from the sea with the shuttle boats: unforgetable!

ever been there an-148?
I went there already 15 times, yearly except during the war, since I was 2 years old. It is a really beautiful place and we have many friends over there. But unfortunately I can't go this year because I am starting my ATPL ( If I pass the medical exam :?: ). So I would say : looking for a nice touristic place and a place with culture , visit Dubrovnik!! and offcourse cavtat like AN-148 said

P.S. Bar ancora is the best in cavtat
:!:
regards
Bram

Yes, I've been there many times since two years.
The surname "pearl of the Adriatic" is surely not usurpated.
I'm about to buy a house in Ivanica 10km from DVB, 7 from Cavtat and 7 from Old town Dubrovnik, so I KNOW the place!)
And therefore I was aking in another topic about plans for regular flights (except the summer Jetonly) from Belgium.

It's essential !!!!!!!!!!!!
The 6 countries which inaugurated European Union (called common market in this time) had this idea strong in mind 50 years ago, one decenny after horrible WWII: peace through solidarity!

Just as a reminder: CH-Aviation is mentionning a possible CGN-DBV to begin this year!
