TUI Airlines Belgium and Thomas Cook Belgium

Post by Schep »

Hi guys !

I'm writing an article about the charter operations in Belgium.

How many planes are flying for TUI airlines Belgium, Thomas Cook Belgium and TNT? For long and short haul flights...

Thanks for your help !

Those are the Belgian registered planes flying for the companies you mentioned:

OO-TUA B737-400 170Y
OO-TUB B737-400 156Y
OO-TUI B737-400 170Y
OO-VAC B737-800 189Y
OO-VAS B737-800 189Y
OO-TUC B767-300ER 290CY

Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium:

OO-TCB A320-200 (I think this one already left the fleet)
OO-TCC A320-200 (I think this one already left the fleet)
OO-TCH A320-200
OO-TCI A320-200
OO-TCJ A320-200

OO-TCC A320-200 (I think this one already left the fleet)
OO-TCH A320-200
OO-TCI A320-200
OO-TCJ A320-200
OO-TCK A320-200
Concerning Thomas Cook OO-TCB and OO-TCC have indeed already left the fleet. For the moment the company has only 4 aircraft, but apparently also OO-TCL will be added soon.

RYR8023, the aircraft model is not always related to the cabin configuration. Every aircraft is moretheless different. Look for example at the previous airlines who flew it.... In the case of the OO-TUB it maybe was once with an airline that pulled out some seatrows to allow more comfort to the pax. A lot of explanations are possible...

Why a different number of seats (all Y) on the same airplane model ?
Good question!!

OO-TUA is ex D-AHLL
and OO-TUB is ex D-AHLU

Both planes came from Hapag Lloyd, but OO-TUB (D-AHLU) was with Blue Panorma before. As Blue Panorma and Hapag are different operators, this could explain the difference in capacity in the plane.
