With the experience i have had with jokers on airliners.net, i'd say pl sympathize with them.

I just went to a lecture of Airbus at University in Ghent, first flight depends on weather conditions, should be in the next weeks.

I hear the A380 won't make flying demos but only a static display at the Paris-Le Bourget Air Show in June, due to "weight & balance issues". Any truth in that ?

As far as I know there are no W/B problems.

I heard on the news (ARD/ZDF Morgenmagazin) a few weeks ago that during structural tests the A380 had encountered minor cracks, and the resulting problems could be a problem, because there was a chance that solving them would take a long time.

As a result the A380 could not take it's first flight which would be delayed until an unknown date.

Has anyone got a fix on that story or is this BS?
