DHL A300s rotations at BRU
I am quite new to this. I am visiting BRU soon and wonder if any of you local experts can help. I would like to know when DHL A300s normally arrive and depart (take-off especially), for photographic purposes, which runways they usually use, etc. I am not put off if it is night. I have seen the spotting sites map by Liebensd so you don't have to describe the exact spot to stand. Would like to get more info on the routes of these buses. Maybe they come close to me from time to time, e.g. LHR and LGW?

Hello Trotfox,
First of all, welcome to the Luchtzak community !
About the DHL A300's : Out of experience and sightings during the last few years, I discovered that there's an incoming DHL A300 almost daily between 12:00 and 13:00. The plane is mostly landing on 25R if the 25-runways are in use.
Some approach shots from DHL A300's made at different spotting days :
* 25/06/04 : OO-DLE

* 24/07/04 : OO-DLC

* 09/02/05 : OO-DIB

On 24/07/04 the DHL A300 came in on 25L, but that was due to calibration or training flights (don't remember exactly) taking place on 25R.
Hope this helps a bit...
Regards, Robin Bamps.
EDIT: Thanks for the additional info Marca. I didn't knew she came from BGY.

Hello
I can't tell you much more than this;
All the last times I went there was a A300 landing around noon , or in the early afternoon (12-14:35 h). And there was also always an departure between (15:00-17:00h).
Not a lot he. But that's all I can tell you from my personal experience.
Hope you have a lot of success!
Best regards: Yannick

Well you don't mention where you are located but they surely visit LHR, when I last went to LHR on a Sunday in November (I only got there for an hour I'm afraid because we were visiting the city....) I saw DHL A300 OO-DLT which landed at 15:30. (There also was a DHL 757 a bit earlier).Maybe they come close to me from time to time, e.g. LHR and LGW?
Hope this helps.
