It rather seems to be an overheating of the rear landing gear that caused the EVAC.
It was the KHI-MAN-YYZ flight.

correct, seems it didn't happen during refueling, but while taxiing to the gate. Wrong grease seems to be the cause:

Does the B777 have a temperature indication of the brakes in the cockpit??

On 18th June 2004, Manchester-Online reported a third case of fire in the undercarriage of PIA's 777! So today's incident is (at least) the 4th more or less identical incident.

I'd ground all their planes till they buy a jar of proper grease!

Like one of the articles says, it's not a good idea to have a fire under a fuel tank which contains explosive fumes.

British news was saying that PIA are using the wrong grease on their planes and continue to do so even after 6 apparent fires on aircraft so far.

Id link it but it was on Tv? hehe

Pressure tires and temperature brakes are indicated on the EICAS.

A drunken PIA pilot also made history just a few weeks ago:

Not that I ever considered going to Pakistan, but if I ever do, I won't be flying PIA...

Could it be that a brake disc was blocked causing over heating?

What incredible stupidty, that Airline should have all its aircraft grounded pending a review of its maintainance procedures, I hope this was not caused by someone hoping to save a few dollars on grease.
